Gatlinburg July 4th Celebrations

If you want to celebrate the 4th of July with flair, there’s no where else to be except Gatlinburg Tennessee!

The party takes place over the course to two evenings with lots of fun things to do in between. Here is the line up of Gatlinburg 4th of July 2017 Independence Day activities:

Gatlinburg July 4th Parade
To be the first Independence Day parade in nation, you’ve got to get a jump on it! The bands, floats, and marchers will start lining up late in the evening on Monday July 3 so that the minute it becomes July 4, they parade starts! Step off will be at 12:01 a.m. at light #1A at Hwy. 321 and continue through downtown to light #10.

Gatlinburg Fireworks Show

Watch Fireworks from Ripley’s Plaza

River Raft Regatta
Beginning at Noon on Tuesday, July 4, unmanned floatables will race on the river from Christ in the Smokies Museum to Ripley’s Aquarium. This annual event is very popular with all ages!

Fireworks Finale
Head downtown to Ripley’s Plaza well before the start of the 100th Army Band concert that begins at 8:30 p.m. Not only will you get great music, you’ll be in a great spot to watch the 20-minute fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. The band will play another set afterwards at 10:20 p.m.
