Cowboy Cooking Event

The Pigeon Forge Chuck Wagon Cookoff is your opportunity to experience the ‘cowboy way’ methods and taste of meals cooked on the trails of the old west.

The competition kicks off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 at Clabough Campground in Pigeon Forge with a line up of activities that fill a day of fun.  There will be live entertainment, cowboy storytelling, vendors, outdoor cooking demonstrations and a chance to talk with the folks who take a whole lot of pride in keeping up a piece of American history.  Dutch oven lunches will be served beginning at noon and tickets are $12.50 per plate.

Saturday wraps up at 5 p.m. with a singer/songwriter and poet/storyteller performance at Dollywood Resort.

The weekend wouldn’t be complete if you missed the Sunday morning Cowboy Church service at 10:30 a.m.
