1st Annual Smoky Mountains Balloon Festival
A brand new event is taking place August 19 from 3-9 p.m. in Townsend TN at the Townsend Visitors Center! “Come Soar with Us” for the very first Great Smoky Mountains Hot Air Balloon Festival in Townsend TN.
The day will include all the anticipated festival fun things to do, and some that might surprise you:

Bands & Live Entertainment
• You’re in for a real treat with the talents of Pistol Creek, The Dirty Dougs, Sara Pirkle and others. There’s a Dr. Magical Balloon Show too. Continuous live performances from 3-8:45 p.m.

Balloons will be inflated at approximately 7:30 p.m. and float until 9 p.m., weather permitting.
